Seoul’s Most Unique Retro Market

Seoul Folk Flea Market

📍 21 Cheonho-daero 4-gil, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul
🕙 Open Wed–Mon | 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
🛑 Closed on Tuesdays

Tucked away in Dongdaemun-gu, where old Seoul meets the new, there’s a treasure trove of nostalgia called the Seoul Folk Flea Market. Just a short walk from Exit 10 of Sinseol-dong Station (Line 1), this place is a living time capsule.

Step inside and you’ll be greeted by over 800 stalls packed with vintage gems—everything from 1960s–70s Korean fashion, jewelry, watches, cassette tapes, vinyl records, and home décor, to antique furniture, old banknotes, coins, guitars, and even handwritten sheet music. It’s basically your cool Korean grandparent’s attic… but super-sized.

Originally a hotspot for art and antiques during the Joseon Dynasty, many of the original dealers moved to Insa-dong over the years. What remained evolved into Seoul’s quirkiest secondhand market—now a haven for collectors, curious wanderers, and stylish young people hunting for that perfect retro piece.

If you’re craving a dose of authentic Korean nostalgia—or just want to score a one-of-a-kind item with a story—this is your spot.
